To Entertain You

I write a post
to entertain you,
to bring a light
to your attention.
I write a bit
not to persuade you,
but rather to
obtain the rest.
I write this time
to bring a reason
to multitudes
of clicking list
and here it stands
my off-wall season
of writing bits
and pieces, yet
I write a piece
to entertain you -
not poem,
story,
or the rest.
I write a post
for you,
dear someone,
who's sitting there
and reading self,
not once,
or twice,
or every day.
I write for you,
is it stimulating?
To read this nothingness
and sit
and wait?
