Wallowing in Upsetness
Night rolls by.
Clock sings thrice.
Buried burns and broken ice.
Sinking in a tub of cream.
Eating life's whole empty seam.
Filling gaps that aren't there.
Waiting for a someone scarce.
Nothing comes
and nothing goes.
Noting nothing, no one knows.
When will answers make me fine?
When will you return my shine?
Can't the lack of eating fix,
or the carving lines in sync
take away my pain and grief?
Take away my wallowed heap.
Bury death and broken bonds.
Bury me and buy my rounds.
Nothing comes and nothing goes,
waiting through this night of throes.
