Untitled

I miss those days of precious youth
the sun rising high
an early wind blowing through.
The days when a laugh,
was just a laugh,
no reason to cry,
no reason for wrath.
Joy was a default
and life was a game.
Tears need no understanding,
and rules weren't obeyed.
I miss those days that passed far below,
with uncalled for emotions
and no regret that could show.
A season's cold fears
were adventurous nights,
and all the wrongs only meant
there was more room for right.
but more than anything I knew
I miss those days that I really saw you.
