Afraid of Hate

Afraid of life,
Afraid to bleed,
Afraid to hide,
Afraid to be.
You wonder why
the quietness
[is]
no solid bliss.
But if I tell
you'll know too much
and this sad fate
is cold to touch.
My biggest fear,
it draws too near:
Afraid of Hate
and empty tears.
If you're a part,
You'll see all lies,
You'll know the lack
of pain in my heart.
And then you'll feel
the cold rebuke:
My greatest fear
unleashed,
no fuse.
You'll hate
and rate,
the friendship
turned from fate.
You'll hide,
no speech.
You won't
see me.
