Digging Circles

I'm having a breakdown.
I'm losing my mind.
The room's all a-swirling
and blindingly bright.
I blink and it's missing.
I blink and it's there.
I fall and I crumble
and break and... and... nothing.
Everything's gushing and bleak and unfit
and it's nothing and everything,
yet stereotypes fit?
My life lacks all meaning
and my soul has been shamed
for the others were tarnished and
I couldn't repair.
The room's still here spinning.
The floor's on my head.
My nails dig in circles
in arms round my legs.
And the bloods now a-pouring.
And the gashes are made.
I'm having a breakdown.
And you're not in my head.
